I have just received my new Lee Auto-Prime tool. In the instructions it says not to use Federal primers. Does anyone have any experience with these tools. Is it or is it not safe to use these primers as I have 1000 of them and plan to use them one way or another. Thanks Gunnutterz.

Best to be safe, and send me your federal primers...:)

Joke. I asked the same question when I got mine, and I've loaded 1000's of them in it now...

The warning stems from an argument between Richard Lee and Federal 20+ years ago.

They work just fine in the Lee hand primer....if you are at all worried, send me your primers and I will dispose of them for you so they don't explode in your primer tool. :D

Thanks fellas, I lucked out got 1000 G210M's and some Varget at Reliable Gun in Van (awesome service by the way), and then a Lee tool and 3 new dies from Mystic Precision (also top quality service).

Gonna sit down this weekend and play around.
