Hey all, after years of being on the fence, I am finally diving into the reloading hobby. I am set on the Lee Pro-1000 to reload .38 and .357. However I wish to use the bullet feeder kit, but have no idea of which one i'll need.

9mm through .365 diameter up to .46 long
9mm through .365 diameter .46 to .60 long
9mm through .365 diameter .60 to .75 long

Tried to search around but got no answer.

What do you guys use?

It depends on the projectile you will be using, the .46, .60 & .75 refer to the length of the projectile e.g. up to 0.46" long.

That said i have a Lee Pro 1000 and am very happy with it, once set up properly it works very reliably, I load 9mm, .40S&W, 45ACP and .223REM on it. I purchased the bullet feeder kits for it but have not used them as they do not work particularly well. By contrast the case feeder works very well.

Good luck with your reloading.

+1million!

i run 3 of them without much issue, aside from the primer feed system. but when it's clean it works great.

as for the bullet feeder, depends on what bullet you plan to use and style.

Also, the kit seems to come with a carbide sizer die and steel dies for the rest. Will I need to lubricate for the steel ones or can I get away with it?

no lube is needed, the only die that would need it would be the resizing/decapping die. but that's only if it's not a carbide.

my cast 158 grain semi wad cutters are .647 in length, but i would think you should be able to use the 9mm through .365 diameter .60 to .75 long sized ones for all. but i have never used them, so i cannot say.
