OK so I bought a Lee classic turrent press with an auto powder dispenser. However I don't use Lee dies as I have other makes and don't feel like replacing hundreds of dollars worth of dies. I know Lee has the powder charging die in their sets to fix the dispenser on.
Question is do I have to buy a rifle charging die and.pistol one? And is there different collets for different calibers to dispense the powder like the Dillion?
Sorry but I have never had a Lee press before and all the YouTube videos show only Lee dies on turrent presses.

You need the rifle charging die for rifle loads. I believe the auto disk dispenser is good for pistol as is. I have one but only have loaded rifle so far.
 
As far as I know Lee expander/powder drop dies are proprietary to their Lee Pro Auto-Disk Powder Measure so you may be on the hook for buying those dies for each calibre you reload if you're using the Pro Auto-Disk Powder Measure. Luckily they are not too expensive ($11.18 US each at Titan Reloading). Since the Classic Turret press has a 4 hole turret you could also go this route for pistol cartridge reloading if you don't want to use Lee dies:
turret hole 1 - size & deprime die and reprime using the Lee Safety Primer Feed (w ww.titanreloading.com/lee-safety-primer-feed-large-small?filter_name=safety prime)
turret hole 2 - case mouth expander die
turret hole 3 - drop powder using any powder measure with standard die size threads (you would have to work the handle manually)
turret hole 4 - bullet seat and crimp die

I haven't reloaded rifle cartridges with my Turret press but I imagine you would just omit step 2 if reloading with jacketed rifle bullets.

The Pro Auto-Disk Powder Measure uses disks which are included to change powder volumes.

If you use the Lee Pro Auto-Disk Powder Measure you need the Lee expander/powder drop dies but you can use any other brand of dies for sizing/decapping and bullet seating. In fact I use mainly Hornady seating dies in my Lee Classic Turret because I like their sliding bullet alignment sleeve, especially when loading long bullets. The only thing you will need to get is a Lee Auto Disk Measure Riser (w ww.titanreloading.com/index.php?route=product/search&filter_name=riser) if you are using the Lee Safety Primer Feed as you will need extra elevation for the powder measure to clear the Safety Prime unit.
