Lee Enfield #4 Criterion barrels

Thanks for posting thst link.

I'd like to know the land and groove diameter as well as what type of rifling they will be using.

I guess we'll have to wait and see as more details are made available.

Fascinating- I read their link.

Personally I like how AIA did it. Savage style barrel collar, easily adjustable headspace with a front sight that can rotate 360 degrees with the loosening of some socket head screws. A great update that was on the original design.

Unfortunately, the AIA setup doesn't allow for bayonet lugs as they would likely be out of index.

Would love to see chambers cut that are the actual correct depth needed, not 1/2" too long to accomodate mud and dirt and debris to keep the rifles functioning under any conditions.

I wonder how well these will sell at the price? That would likely be $450 CAD or more.

It's funny how much difference there really is. A fired case from a 303 British chambered rifle that has not been oversized looks so much different from one that has. I was thinking that to myself today as I was picking up fired brass from one of my Ross 1905-R sporters and admiring how perfect looking the brass was and how sharp and pronounced the angles at the shoulder are as well as the lack of swell out the side at the web. Truly a thing of beauty.

Tightest chamber I've seen was on a 1950 LB I had. The brass barely changed at all.

Any non rimmed case headspaces on the shoulder, so it really must be only the .303 that has that overlength chamber. Meaning, there's really no reason to do it on a new barrel.

That's how the Brits made them work under any dirty conditions.
