As compared to which contemporary? The No. 4 DOES have awesome sights, for a battle rifle! Beats the hell out of the crap they put on the mouse guns these days... of course, nobody gets taught to aim these days, anyway...
My No4Mk2, with sportered wood, and a Bushnell 3-9x40 attached with cad-technik mount, threw five rounds of Federal 180gr SP (Crappy Tire stock) into 2" at 200m, off of sandbags. I'd say that the rifle is far more accurate than I'll ever be!
