So I got a Enfield of my grandfather and he wants me to check it out (works good mags cracked) and see what it's worth... I was wondering how I would go about trying to figure the value of it??

He also has a mosin that I haven't fired yet that he wants me to check out...

Anyone have some info how I could get some prices

EE is full of Enfields and Mosins for sale.Check it out,see if you can find one similar to yours.Take asking price with grain of salt but it often is approximate price.

Ballpark... if the Mosin 91/30's bore is in good shape, given what I can see of the overall shape of the stock and metal, let's say $175 could find a taker; and the No4 commercial sporter converstion, given it's missing a mag ($50 for a spare one) and also missing its rear sight, and the wood's pretty rough; could also be a nice project for $150 or $175, but, interest for fair to good condition guns such as these may mean it's more difficult to find a motivated buyer.

Re. the Lee enfield, I know there's a rear sight on the barrel but it's so far forward that I would take it off and suggest fitting an original rear sight on the receiver.

This is what i figured... There is a mag for the Enfield it's just not in the pic... Since there is nothing "special" about the Enfield I'm going to leave the sight where it is cuz I can hit my target at 100yrds no problem so I don't want to screw with it lol... Thanks for the info... Now I know what to give my grandfather
