Lee Enfield No.8 firing pin and spring?

I recently acquired a well-traveled Lee Enfield No.8 .22LR trainer, but it is currently without firing pin or spring.

Does anyone happen to know of a source for said parts, or a workaround (i.e. compatible parts from a different bolt)?

You will be making them. Nothing will interchange. You can see the difference in bolt head length from the No.5 to the No.9 in the photo. The No.8 is the second from the right.

Just curious, what part of the firing pin are you talking about?
The arse end is simply a No4 firing pin cut off just ahead of the front shoulder
The spring is a No4 spring
The part that hits the primer is a seperate shouldered piece that could be turned out on a lathe and is free floating in the bolt head

John, I removed the bolt head and there's simply nothing inside - no firing pin or part of one, or a spring. The parts appear to have been removed at some stage without the knowledge of the prior owner.

The good news is that the gentleman I acquired the rifle from emailed me today and he's found an original No.8 firing pin for me through a friend of his, so all should be sorted out soon.

Well you don't need a spring, that is in the bolt body driving the striker. the firing pin in the bolt head is free floating.
Anyway, Beater apparently has solved your problem.

Great, thanks for posting the images. I'd only seen the diagram from the manual but it's useful to see actual photos.
