Lee Enfield no4 mk1 pictures

Sorry it took me so long to post these.
This is a rifle I ordered from Trade Ex. I was really happy with the packing of the rifle. I was also pleased that I was sent a rifle with the attributes I specifically asked for (I wanted a shooter).
I had it to my gunsmith and he said it was in great shape. I brought it to the range and I suspect it is more accurate than I am (it is my first large caliber rifle). Either way, the groups were good (better than my Russian SKS:p) on a one foot square target set at 50 and 75 yards.
My only complaint is that the battle sights are a little hard to use, but I don't think I'll change them out anytime soon.
Can anyone decipher the stamps on the wrist? I have figured out about everything (with help from people on this sight) but I can't figure what year it was made.

No.4 Mk1 rifle

The AA2 in the serial number is Fazakerley, England manufacture. Early production.

If you want a better rear sight, you could replace yours with a Mark I (adjustable micrometer type) sight. They cost about $25 at gun shows.
