LEE ENFIELD No5 Bayonets,

I was lucky enough to get a bayonet for mine ions ago, but to this day I still cannot locate an original sheath for it....
Oh well..
Cheers:)

Actually, its the reason so many Jungle and No9 bayonets are missing scabbards, the scabbard were re-arsenaled and re-issued with the FN L1A1 bayonets.

Would any of you folks have a pic or a good description of an original No 5 bayonet?

Grampa bought a rifle with bayonet (which I now have) years ago, I'm thinking its probably correct but not certain.

OK
Here is my 1947 BSA made No.5Mk.1 bayonet fitted to my '47 Faz. No.5.

Thanks guys. They sure look a lot like mine :D

The wood on mine happens to be very dark, bloody nears black. The rifle's wood is fairly dark as well. Its marked No5MK1ROF (F) 7/45. Thanks again for the help.....

Well if one of you guys are stuck and could use my bayonet to complete a rifle I would consider selling or trading it. I will never sell my rifle, nor bubba it but will use it as gramps did once in a while, for hunting. The bayonet lives on top of my gun cabinet and that's kind of a waste to me.....
