Hello all,
I’ve just inherited a no5 mk1 “Jungle Carbine” lee enfield. Which is in fortunately missing it’s buttstock and screws. I’m looking at ordering a replacement from the USA but I’m having a hard time determining if I need additional screws. I’m looking at this: https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/532560 . But I also see photos featuring a long buttplate frame threaded rod, and a buttplate frame threaded screw. Now do I need I need the linked kit only or do I also need the afore mentioned screws?
Thanks

the buttstock they sell is not identical to an original one. you will need the screws if you buy it, or you will have to modify it for the original threaded rod.
prestigious wood stocks in Alberta sells no5 wood. don't think they have the hardware though.
