Lee Enfields should we import them? westrifle.com

From what I have seen at auctions and gunshows ...there is still great interest in full wood military by their collectors and the first time bud
get hunters are still ready to buy a sporterized one

I'm interested in a full wood long branch #4 matching bolt with ladder sites. I hate those flimsy 300/600 field peep sites. I love "dialing up" a specific distance and seeing how close I get from what the sites say. I know full well that unless using Original ammo loaded to those specs, that modern stuff will be off POI a bit. But I find that part fun. I have a nice spot up here that I can shoot almost 2km and that is what I find the Enfields shine at. (not that distance! I'm not anywhere that good. It is just a good spot that could house a 50BMG or .338Lapua and let them stretch their legs. ) I am holding off on Corwin's Enfields because I am waiting to hear what Westrifle will have to offer. If they would just throw out a little nugget of info on what he is actually looking into. #1, #4 Mk 1/2 ? I won't wait much longer though. WESTRIFLE. Please just toss us a bone on what kind of Enfields you are trying to acquire.!!!!!!!!

I can not give more info before I sign a contract. Once I sign and go inspect a lot I will know exactly what I got. Sorry I can review type just yet.

Yes, and there are these modern designs done in Australia. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2007/10/03/aia-m-10-infomation/ Marstar had some a few years back for $600 or so but I haven't seen any since. I really am curious what Westrifle has (or will have) in store for us.

You mentioned two months ago you were flying overseas to look at them and take pictures. How did that go ?

I would have to think that if the rifles are in fact new to near new condtion, unmolested and matching that they would sell between $800-$900 with no problem.

Would i want them to be cheaper? Of course...would i want them to wind up in the states or another country because us Canadians are too cheap? Nope, certainly not. Sometimes you have to pay to play.

Guys so are they coming or not? I just missed the rifle I was eying for 2 weeks from corwin arms. Now it is gone, hope you guys can deliver. Can you at least let us know which models or factories are coming. If you are unsure I can post great reference links for enfield rifles for your information

We received an offer to buy 300 Lee Enfields. We are still arguing with a seller about the price. My question is should I import it to Canada or ship it to USA where I can get more money for it? Do you think Canada will pay the high price for those?

I can not reveal the price yet because I don't know if I can drop it down.

what models?

original wood?

matching bolts?

also

yes you should import them

No!! It's too soon, I'm still collecting milsurps from the eastern front. Wait a few months, I'll skip over France and start collecting Brit milsurps.
