Lee Enfields should we import them? westrifle.com

I'm pretty sure he was SCOOPED by Martin... Just a guess

I wondered that but what did Corwin have in 15? 25? I seem to remember Westrifle talking about 300 Enfields

edit Yeah, from the first post in this thread......"We received an offer to buy 300 Lee Enfields. We are still arguing with a seller about the price..."

I think Corwin has sold over 150 now.

We received an offer to buy 300 Lee Enfields. We are still arguing with a seller about the price. My question is should I import it to Canada or ship it to USA where I can get more money for it? Do you think Canada will pay the high price for those?

I can not reveal the price yet because I don't know if I can drop it down.

And why would you not sell where you can get the highest price,

I just looked at the sight... showing 23 sold out.... unless there has been a few sight updates I missed, I don't think he had 150. If he did, at the $800/$900 a piece, he did quite well....

He kept updating stock and I know for sure he sold over 50 that I saw. His item numbers were around 150 or so, I think even a bit higher. I have an LB 1943 and it's excellent, barrel looks new and the rest is excellent. Plus it comes from an armoury rebuild, better than s desporterized or otherwise thrown together rifle (except Lou the Pooh I've seen little indicating proper assembly of LEs). I have a couple SMLEs coming (one for me) and based on Marvin's description being humble on the No4 I'm very excited to get them! It was chaos trying to order them because his page was being stalked and guns disappeared constantly, I had connection issues and lost a rifle in the middle of trying to get it :( But I think I came out pretty good, time will tell. For sure there is a market for these unmolested FTR rifles, based on how fast they sold I don;'t think it's saturated yet. He has another 24 coming in I think...

You guys realize that you are discussing another sponsors activity on Westrifle's thread.

In light of Westrifle's lack of information on the status of these "300 Lee Enfields", one might say complete silence even, discussing the other sponsor's activity is not 'proper'... but in my opinion only, both expected and not 'unethical'.

This has been a long time waiting here.
Don't hold off on something you want for the hope that something better will come along.
If it does, sell the one and get the other. Or keep both.
My overall suggestions would to be buy whatever Enfield you have your eye on now or next. Then if Westrifle gets some nice high quality ones, acquire that too. And own two or sell one to fund another.
Complete Enfields will hold their value if not increase some for the next 5 years or so. Easy to find someone to take one off your hands.
