Is it possible to use the Lee Factory Crimp Die (LFCD) for different calibres with the same bore diameter. For example I have a 308 LFCD for my 308 Winchester. I plan to load some 7.63x39 for my Ruger 77 which has a 308 diameter bore (not 311). Can the 308 Winchester LFCD be adjusted for 7.62x39 and if so how? Same question for 303 British and 303 Epps. Thanks.

I don't6 think so, the die is a specific length. When the press pushes against the bottom of it the crimp is made. The length of the die isn't adjustable. But they are good dies, though. I had them custom make one for my 375 Whelen. Love it.

Suspect it won't be a possibility - not saying it can't work, but I don't think you'll be able to crimp within reasonable consistency. The die is designed to work within reasonable limits of case length, from max to maybe 20 thou or so under, set to preferred crimp depth and then used. You'd probably wind up trying to set by feel rather than preset stroke bottom with the press if you could even figure out a way to get the shorter case high enough into the die's collet. Get hold of Lee and buy the right die - they're pretty cheap. I'm just guessing here...
