lee factory crimp die

Anyone use one for 458 wm? Is it worth getting? If so has anyone seen one in stock on a Canadian shelf?

Higginson Powders will likely have one in stock and ready to ship - I'm guessing $16 plus a small shipping cost (Lee #90969). Higginson is the main Lee Distributor in Canada and sells to end users...

I bought mine from titan reloading out of the state's. Cost me about $20 & was delivered to my door in about 10 days. Very happy with the die.

I don't have a 458, but I do use the factory crimp die for my 358win BLR and my 7-08 BAR. I also use a "Consistent Crimp Tool" when I use the factory crimp,...I like to keep my crimp preasure as consistent as every other part of the recipe.

I'm using a lee factory crimp die for HORNADY brass and cast bullets only, the brass is considerably shorter than every other manufacturer of 45-70's. To accomplish crimping this short brass I cut 0.050" off the bottom of the collet. The HORNADY brass is the only brass that requires this Lee die modification and it will not crimp properly on standard length brass after this modification.
