Lee Factory Crimp

The other benefit of using the Lee FCD is that it also full-length resizes the completed cartridge as a last step of the reloading process. This is particularly good when loading with lead bullets. I have never had a round fail to chamber in any auto pistol caliber since using a Lee FCD.

I have several LFC dies, and have always had good rfesults with them.

Something else, you can use them on the improved version of the caliber they are designated for. I use my 375 H&H FC die to crimp 375 Wby, 6mm to crimp 6mm Ackley and 240 Page Super Pooper.

Wow, mine just work the top of the neck.

I use the FCD on heavy 454 Casull loads to prevent bullets from jumping crimp in the cylinder and binding up the revolver. Works very well.
Cheers

If you need to crimp the Lee factory crimp die is the way to go.
I crimp everything. You can set the rifle dies for a light crimp or a heavy crimp depending on what you need.
