Lee FCD vs Lee taper crimp vs other taper crimps

In my experience with crimpers I always tought the Lee FCD did taper crimp, riiiight until I had a natchez catalog in my hand, where they list Lee Taper crimp dies. Why would Lee offer 2 products that are virtually similar puzzles me, what would be the difference between the two? and how would they compare to other taper crimps liek say Dillon's model?

The Lee product catalog only lists one for each caliber and it is a taper crimp for the autos (in the catalog I have anyways). It is a possibility the Natchez catalog has a misprint. Wouldnt be the first time
