Lee Load All II

I have one in a 20 gauge and it works very well with winchester aa shells; not so well with other types..... its hard to find wads these days, but aa wads are much easier located and thats the key to successfully reloading shotshells with this unit, to match the wad with the shell.

I have a couple of them and like them, I don't load a ton of shotshells just a bit of slug/buckshot and some trap/bird loads.
As with all shotshell loading the quality of the empty hull is the biggest factor in the finished product (and crimp). The best or worst press will not easily crimp cheap walmart Win and Fed hulls.
Old Win AA's and a bunch of other prefered hulls will work best in any press.

It all depends on the number of shell you want to load at one time. For a few hundred a year the lee will work okay, I've never owned one but many friends have. They can be problematic at time to say the least. If you want to load a few hundred at a sitting I suggest starting off with a mec 600 jr.

I'm still waiting for my PAL is a reloader something I can go ahead and purchase, without the powder and primers of course.

presses your fine, gun powder is the only thing on that list, though i think some places just ask for id to make sure your 18+, but i'm not fully sure on that part.

i was going to buy a lee load all, but i found a mec 600 jr and am pretty happy with it, no complaints other then it costing more then the lee lol.

i only load buckshot or slugs (which i haven't done yet), birdshot is just not worth it unless you get lead for free.

Has anyone ever used this model ? Does it work well and does anyone know where I can get one in Canada ?

I have made around 300 slugs/shot/buckshot with lee load all 2, not as fast as some loaders but its cheap and easy to use.

I got mine from Henry @Budget shooter supply

I have two, one in 12 and one in 16, have loaded thousands and thousands of 16 with it, had to replace the bushing I was using for shot once, but other than that, it is surprisingly reliable and makes great shotshells!!

I have loaded mostly win hulls with it, SP-16 wads, 1-1/4 oz no6, fed 209's, and used to use win 571. That was an amazing duck load back when we could use lead, I switched to bismuth and kept on going with the same load.

Wish I could find some more bismuth shot!!!
