Lee Loadmaster Powder Charging Accuracy

Hey All,

Have Load a few different types of ammo, on my Loadmaster I mainly load 40. and 9mm.

I have noticed that when loading the 40. I use vitivoura N340 and load at 5.6 grains. But I notice that it verys between 5.2 and 5.6 when I randomly weight the chrages. And the other day at the range I had a light charge.

I am new ish to reloading but have a very good idea what im doing. Is there somthing I may be doing wrong that I can do to fix this issue? or maybe and upgrade to the press?

are you using the adjustable charge bar? i have been using win 231 with my 40 for the last 10yrs and have great results,and very accurate charge weights..

It would be safer and more accurate to just throw a small handful in each case.

I find the autodisk works well, however out here static is not an issue. also keep in mind powder varies by lots up to 10%

I'm loading 9mm 124's with 6gr power pistol, my load carts by at most .2gr with the LM.

Aww, c'mon Ben, nobody has hands that small! Seriously, I think you must be a closet shareholder in Lee Precision and you just have a bad Forster dream every now and then. . .
