Anybody have one?Anybody know how to use one?I just got one and am pulling my hair out with this ball rolling back and forth...I cant zero it....I cant get an accurate weight with this ball rolling back and forth...the one I bought has no instructions......did I make a mistake......40 bucks with shipping.........

Put the beam on the scale and place the ball in the notch for 0. Place the slider on the right on zero making sure the 1/10 grain lines up on the 0 window. Use the brass screw to zero the scale.

BTW, I was a bit confused at first about this but on the scales, zero isa ll the way to the right. The zero to the left is 10.

I bought one of these scales shortly after they became available. At the time I thought the Lee Scale must be the most accurate powder scale available due to the fact that the beam only measures 100 grs. rather than the more common 500 grs. Unfortuneately my scale had a sticky spot right from new, and I quickly lost faith in it's consistency.

Follow Andrewe's instruction to zero the scale, but when you begin to weigh charges, bump the beam 2 or 3 times to ensure you are getting consistant readings. Actually this is a good idea with any balence beam scale.

Didnt realize the ball went in the notches I had it rolling back and forth on top of the rails...........DUH!!!!!!!....... my bad
