Lee Precision vs. RCBS Dies.

Owning several brands, I find the Lee work great for me, and I am using them more and more over others I have duplicates of. Have yet to have a "junk" die from any brand.

I just bought my first carbide dies from Lee Precision.
I have been using RCBS for years. Is it just me or are the Lee dies way nicer?

It's you.I much prefer RCBS over LEE,but lately,I have been buying Redding dies whenever I can find them.

The trouble is I like my guns silver and shiny and so it must go with the dies that help feed them!

I like my guns with a dull finish,so they don't shine, and are actually suitable for hunting. As for the dies,I could care less what they look like on the ouitside,as long as they are made to the proper dimensions, have a proper internal finish, and function properly.

Agreed!

I avoid most anything Lee, while they have some innovative ideas, it's not backed up with precision manufacturing or quality materials, for that, I'd take the RCBS anytime, although I to prefer Redding, Forster, Wilson, Etc. when it comes to die sets.

Some of the Lee dies I have are good, others not so. I think the new ones are better now. I bought a gun with a 380 ACP die set from Lee (age unknown) and that piece of sh... really is junk. The problem with some accessories is that they are made of plastic, so if people push it, that stuff breaks easily, of course they are cheap to replace too.
