Lee Precision

I currently using lyman bench plus Rcbs dies for 44 magnum reload, it had 3 pcs for reloading. Not working good on resize .If I buy Lee dies ,can it be put on Lyman bench? Lee carries 4 pieces include rolling die, is that one usefull ?

My DE 44 magnum cannot feed good on flat top semi ward cutter projectiles, any suggestion on projectiles , would RN works , where to find it.

I believe that the Lee will work with the Lyman but to be safe I have asked Lee. Likely won't hear back from them till Wednesday.
As for the rolling die - I seem to remember a forum about the use of that die. Lee will likely give me some useful info for that as well.

The Desert Eagle 44 Auto Mag is very ammo sensitive and is not the same as 44 Magnum. They differ in length. That is what I have discovered on Google. Good luck.

Auto index hex ratchet Lee part 90108. These need to be replaced regularly and are getting very hard to find in Canada. I just ordered a 3 pack from the states and shipping was > $20.00 !

This reply came from Lee this morning.
"Lee pistol dies for either the 4 die set for 44Spl p/n 90966 (can be used to load the 44Mag) or the 3 die set for 44Mag p/n 90512 (can not be used to load the 44Spl)
are what is known as 7/8 14 dies. This is an industry standard die size and Lee dies should fit in your press just fine.

The fourth die in the 44Spl die set is the Lee carbide factory crimp die. This die has a carbide post sizing insert that is designed to look for and correct any diameters on the cartridge case that are too large and might keep the cartridge from chambering freely in your firearm. This die produces a roll crimp. Most people find it easier to separate the seating and crimping steps when they reload."
