Hi all. I use a Lee turret press with the auto indexer to reload. Was reloading some 9mm last night and the press seemed kinda sticky. Like it sometimes wouldn't advance all the way to the next position, i'd have to give it a little nudge. Anyone had this happen before ? What was the problem/solution? i replaced the index piece, but other than that i didn't get too far into troubleshooting yet..

Try lubricating the turret with low viscosity engine oil, like a 5W-20, so it turns freely in the top "ring".
Use the same oil on the square ratchet and the auto index clamp.

i've got the same press and i've had the same issue, i did exactly as easy rider above suggester, but switch engine oil for just regular gun oil, worked the press a bit and it cleared it right up
but also you'll notice a little ball bearing that spins when you take out the index peice that holds all the dies, lubricate that well also
