I think you have to understand that you are buying a press which is about 1/3 of the price of a Dillon press which is the standard in the industry.


Even the youtube videos clearly shows the weakness, the Lee presses are good for what they are, BUT they are not made to punch out 400 rounds/hour (even if you can do it), you cannot force it, otherwise it WILL break.

This is one of the main keys to losing less hair over the initial frustration of the Lee 1000. If during the primer seating stage you feel even the slightest resistance let go of that ram arm and find out what is going on. With the other stages you need to burn into your muscle memory what the pressure feels like when reloading a successfull round.
