I have the above, used, but I’m sure I have the wrong case slide for 9mm Would anyone have the actual dimensions of the plastic slide that set’s the case in the holder that will feed 9mm?

Also I have 3 bases for the tubes. 2 are gray & the other is black with a aluminium tube hanging down. Which one is for which?

I cant seem to get the cases to drop down without the next case jamming the feed slide due to the case height.

Any help! What am I doing wrong?

Cheers

I found that when you follow the directions when you are assembling the lee pro it does't work. Try lowering the black plastic piece that the empty casings sit on. You may only have to lower it a few mm for the system to work. Once you fine tune it you should be able to reload about 200 rds/hr

the one with the tube "hanging down" is a 9mm/223 ( they take the same plate and cylinder- now as for the case jamming,it's a matter of adjusting that long screw and a couple of nuts- i added some extra nits and lockwashers so it won't move without difficulty- finally your case feeder, measures .8 high x 2.25 long and looks like someone took a bite out of the bottom of the curved surface on the front- or at least mine does

Looks like I have the wrong one..

I took the callipers to mine and found the following:
1 & 1/8 inch high 2.25 in length.

If a 9mm case is 3/4 inch high how do you stop the next one in the tube dropping onto the first one in the slide feed without it jamming up?

Look to me I need a sliding block that is no more than 3/4 inch or actually a little less to stop the problem. That's why I asked if I had the right size for the job at hand?

Or am I looking at this thing all wrong!

Thanks for your help, so far.

Cheers

actually the case in the tube rides ON TOP OF THE SLIDER until the one in the feedway is pushed into the slot, then when the case is in the slot, and the slider is retracted, gravity drops the next case down- and so on- you definately have the WRONG SLIDER-from the sounds of things , it sounds like it's built for something on the 38/357/ 44 mag length case- there's a SPECIAL slider for 9mm which you should get- on the back of your instruction manual, under the shell plate parts list, there's a table- they want you to buy the complete case feeder, but you already have the right cylinder and plate, so all you need is the SMALL SLIDER- info@leeprecision.com
if this is a NEW unit with a WRONG SLIDER they'll make it right- if this is a used unit or a conversion from something else( which i suspect is the case) it'll set you back 8 bucks plus ship- either way, there's NO POINT in doing anything else until you get the SMALL SLIDER in there- tr2449b(SMALL SLIDER) - THE PARt NUMBER IS FOR ALL THE SLIDERS AND YOU HAVE TO specify THE SMALL SLIDER

I find buying from Lee Precision ( ww w.leeprecision.com) very easy and quick, especially for the small parts and bits and pieces that wear out or get lost. Order the complete sets from HIGGINSONS or any of the sponsors at the top of the page.

now HOLD ON THERE-that DEPENDS ON WHERE YOU ARE IN THE COUNTRY AND WHAT YOU NEED- lee has a HUGE FOREIGN SHIPPING CHARGE from the factory- last time i ordered spares for my loadmaster it 11.25 on a 17 dollar order- it's not the standard 4 bucks it used to be- far better to order from higgy if he has it, then go to lee- i've found that if i need a piece to get me bck up and running, it's best to write ( e-mail ) lee customer service, and they will SOMETIMES SHIP THE PART FOR FREE - just the one-thing is i LIKE to keep spares on hand , and that can get expensive- i have 3 1000's and a loadmaster
