Primers are not coming out on the rotation. Seems like the switch to pull them out is not engaging enough to drop a primer. Is there an easy way to adjust or should I shim the transfer bar to make it easier for it to pull the switch to drop a primer?

Check the wire spring under the priming pin. Has it slipped out of its groove? If so, it will lock the priming pin in place. Just move it back to its groove.

i just cured the exact same problem when i switched my 45 acp over to small primer( winchester nt) however as that switch is problematic at best and severly aggrivating at least , ( the whole priming system is on the 1000) , i just swung the arm out of the way and tightened the screw down so you get a primer every time the shell rotates no matter what- just watch the shell plate any way and remove the primer when there is no case with a set of needle nose pliers-then put it back in the tray- i've drilled a hole in the coverplate to do this - there's a nice little"circle" from the casting if you look close enough that works out just right- that way you can dump any primers that go "missing" back in the feed one at a time-
some folks refuse to use the system at all, given the problems that happen when you get down to 10 or so primers in the trough, and the fact that almost anything will stop the feed- bad powder drop, not enough primers to push the primer onto the pin, anything blocking the feed- and you get primers that seat sideways, and get folded or crushed- lets face it, it's not a very good system at all, and bst get an auto-prime had jobbie for back-up
however, if you keep it clean and full of primers( fill it when the TRAY becomes empty, not the TROUGH) it does work

Thanks I wedge a clothes Pin Under it.

I have one of those case feeding tubes and when I load it the cases eventually all fall out. I am able to do one at a time nicely. But is there a way to set the case feeder so it actually works?

you need to re- read your manual from the sounds of things- the case feed is a simple drop tube that should be aligned with the feed bar like it shows - good god, man, the manual has PICTURES-set up like in the pictures, there is only the priming problem to deal with - you need 2 -7/16th wrenches to tighten the bolt that holds the feeder mech to the carrier-
ok here's how you do it:
1) take out the plate assembly remove your tubes, for now
2 ) drop the lever all the way down- the carrier will be in the full up position, butted up against the die
3) put a shell in front and against the case feeder
4) put your plate assembly back in the hole and adjust it so the bottom of the case assembly is against the mouth of the case, and add about the thickness of a dime or a little more so it doesn't catch on the case when it drops- you do this with the top nut on the screw rod that's attached to the carrier
5) tighten the bottom nut so it won't move
6) butt the assembly up against the top of the press so it won't get trapped when you cycle the lever- you may want to add a little clearance here
7) put your tubes back in-

cycle the press a few times to make sure it doesn't get caught anywhere
i've added lock washers and jam nuts to mine so it can't move
