I was lucky enough to pick up a lightly used press today. I think it is a Lee progressive 1000 press with a #2 shell carrier...everything else is missing.
From what I can see...I need a #19 shell carrier (for 9mm) a 3 hole turret plus an auto drum. Primer feed appears to come with the shell carrier.
Just want to make sure I am not missing anything (major) before I order parts.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

your missing the 3 hole turret, 4 tubes for the case feeder and the collator to go on the 4 tubes, wooden ball on the press arm, and the primer tray to feed the priming system.

If nothing else came with the press you will need a small primer setup (#2 is 45acp so it likely has the large primer setup in the shell plate carrier)

Also make sure the primer actuator clip is still there (at the bottom of the shell plate carrier by the plastic tab screwed to the carrier) looks like this, LINK

Thanks for the info. The primer actuator clip is still there and functioning. But it looks like I will replace the entire shell carrier with 9mm.

No problem, good idea replacing it all so you get everything you will need and have some spares. Another thought is get extra primer trays so refilling the press is faster. I've got 3 pro 1k's and will fill 3 of the trays at a time when reloading 1 calibre. the primer trays are meant to hold 100 small or large primers but i usually fill the trays with 200 small pistol and 150 large so i don't have to change it as often. Another tip is keep an eye on the primer chute so it always has primers in it, i find that's the biggest issue with the pro 1k is not feeding enough primers then you end up crushing them or flipping upside down. If nothing goes wrong i can easily get 400 rounds an hour. When putting the primer tray in the primer chute use a nail or similar to prevent the primers from falling out and jamming things up. it can also be used to push the primers back into the tray when your done reloading and have some left over.

Here is a great set of videos on the pro 1k and how to keep them running nicely.

check out his other videos on the pro1k.
