Good day fellow Nutz.

Does anyone know where I can get Lee full length sizing dies for 223 and 22-250? I need the full length sizing dies only as I already have the collet sizing and bullet seating dies.

I was going to order them from Lee but they want $20 for the die and $25 for shipping. And that's American dollars!\

Thanks

Why Lee dies? I have a set in 243 and they are garbage, especially the sizer die. The neck is not concentric with the body. They are going to be replaced by RCBS or Hornady.

Question, can you Canadians order from American sites like Midway, Amazon, Widener's Reloading and Shooting Supply etc?

Lee Precision Pacesetter .223 Dies (Red) Price: $27.89 & FREE Shipping on orders over $35.

Lee RGB 2-Die Set 223 Remington $19.29

Midway will not sell ANYTHING to Canada. Pity...
Brownells sells to many items to Canada (ITAR permitting)
Amazon.ca is priced in CAD and has free shipping on many items, Amazon.com usually does not.

Right now, the U.S. Dollar is exchanging at about $1.34 Canadian. Add shipping, brokerage and as much as 13% in taxes depending upon your province.
So, the Pacesetter 3-die sets from Higginsons Powders aren't a bad deal at around CAD $42.00

Just because you have a bad die does not make all Lee dies garbage.
This picture was taken several years ago to show someone else who said the same thing.
I have dies by Lee, Hornady, RCBS, and even a set of Redding Custom Competition dies which now cost over $350.00.
Yes the Custom Competition dies have micrometer adjustments on them but they still don't make ammunition any more accurate than my Lee dies. Maybe my results will be different when I get rid of the factory barrel but till then the Lee dies do as good a job as any.

Only problem I've ever had with Lee dies was recently....
Got a set of 7mm-08 from my uncle that were made in the '80s, and the threading on the FL and seating die are too short for my classic cast press.... Have to use them in my turret press. Newer dies are longer....lol
Couple of recent collet dies needed additional polishing as they were pinching the necks and leaving marks, easy fix though. I generally polish the expanders, mandrels, and inside on the FL dies a bit more anyway as it only takes 5 mins with a drill.

Thanks everyone. I have sent Higginson an email to see if they have them.

It sounds like you got a bad die. I have used Lee dies and presses for well over 20 years and never had a problem in quality of the equipment or accuracy of the ammunition. Contact Lee I'm sure they will make it right for you Dogbite.

Amen to that. I've got a Forster Ultra micrometer die kit as well as Lee dies for 308. The Forster did not improve anything over my Lee dies. Hard to say that the cost to upgrade my dies from cheap Lee dies was worth it.
