I couldn't help but buy this one today.

It is a BSA Sporter Lee-Speed?) which seems to have a CLLE receiver with matching bolt.

The stock had an "incident" somewhere in its history and the horn tip needs some love. It was D&T'd for a scope base but all in all relatively complete and a great bore.

I cannot get over how light and handy these feel in the hands.

Nice rifle, I can see why you bought it...but shouldn't that be posted in the "hunting and sporting" or "milsurp" forums? You might get more attention there.

These little rifles have perfect balance and come up to the shoulder and point as well as any high class safari rifle.

I had one and loved it. In a momentary lapse of reason, I moved it along. I still can't fathom why? Oh well.

The trail has gone cold on this one, no idea as to where it is now.
I hope the new owner/owners appreciate it as much as I did.

Your carbine looks to be in great shape. A little TLC and she will be good for another 100 years.

Found this page from a 1935 catalogue. They make no reference to a horn cap but they due make reference to the charging bridge. The barrel on mine is 20 1.2" so I suspect it is the 4C variant.
