Just to let folks know Lee has changed their warranty terms and not for the better unfortunately.

Broke the lever sleeveBP2780(which is made of powdered metal) on my turret press the other night $4.00 part, warranty replacement. Yep, order it, must be sent to home/billing address$30 canadian and up to 3 month delivery. Spoke with Lee and expressed my disappointment and was basically told take it or leave it. They can suck a bag of dicks and will never see another dime of my money.

Piece of Sched 80 pipe and 30 minutes later I made a replacement made from real steel. Between these guys and Thompson Centre warranty I am dealing with if you buy for the warranty you may be disappointed

For all of your lee stuff here in Canada, go to Higginson Powders Inc. in Ontario. Don't know about warranty but you would only pay for the part, fast shipping and very good service.

Sounds like the part itself was free but the charge was for shipping? I think anything coming from the US is getting beaten up by mandatory minimum cross-border shipping costs. Speak with Higginson and they should be able to get you that part shipped in with their next order. The part will probably be free but you are still going to pay for the shipping from Higginson though.

This. I emailed a pic of the broken toggle on my press on Friday to Lee Precision. They replied yesterday it would be replaced. Got the shipping notice today. Maybe COD mail charges; no payment yet though.
Last part I received there were no charges..good luck

I had a frame for one of my presses break. They replaced it for free but I had to pay for shipping, which is cool with me. Had it in less than a week.

edit: and this was 2 weeks ago.
Thats pretty hard to break a press, most likely it was defective metal. Make sure you lube your cases well, that reduces a lot of the stress on the press.

Lee I got the same run around - in fact - the part still hasn't come and I went through this last summer. Hornaday on the other hand, sent me replacement parts free (even though I hadn't registered my product) and them came right quick. They win the vote.

I'd give them another call, whats it going to hurt....

OK, I did miss that.

Let me rephrase; You're OK with your frame breaking?

I broke a Lyman T-Mag once. It let go while sizing a case, no extreme pressure, didn't buckle the case or anything, it just broke.
I sent Lyman a photo (an actual picture, in the mail!) and they sent me a new one no questions.

With Lee I just go to their website, put the part in my cart, put half a dozen other parts I might need someday, go to checkout, the price of every parts goes to 0$, then I pay minimal sum for shipping, and I get everything a week later.

I have so many spares for all my stuff...
