LeeEnfield No1 resto

I have found a No1 that was sporterized but has original barrel length and sights.
I am putting a want to buy add in the EE for parts but thought I would ask here also if anyone has experiance doing this or has parts/knows where to get them.

I can buy fron Numrich but would rather keep it in Canada. I have looked at a scematic and know the parts...lots to list.

Can I request a picture of the front sight? I have no idea what the original front sight of the No 1 Mk 3 looks like outside the military configuration and it would help in determining if a sporter I am looking at is worth restoring or not.

if you can wait till march Marstar will have a bunch of wood and hardware for the no1's,. I didn't have much luck with canadian sources for wood so I ended up getting a set off ebay

Might wait for Marstar....or order from Numrich...I have an Ad in the EE...I like to do bussiness with other CGNers.

Steppenwolf...I need lots...I will try Epps....didn't think of them. There is a lot too list on here but if you want I will.

As for the pic.....I'd like to see on too....I am not 100% if it is real but it looks just like the one in the scematic breakdown of the No1 I have and the nose cap will fit on it.
