My hunting buddy wants an auto loader, upgrading from his sxp
We are both looking on line but i would love a list of lefty shotties from you boys and girls that you think worth looking into
He dosent want to switch over the safety, looking at left side eject!

Franchi, benelli, Remington versamax, and Remington 1100 . Hatsan also makes a left hand semi. I prefer a sx3 with the safety switched. I am a leftie and had a sb2 benelli. The gun dealer has a left hand sb2 for 1499.99 plus tax. Good deal. I also hear that the a400 is also available now in left hand. I had to buy a left hand semi it would be a beretta a400 but with kids at home that is not happening for a long time.

This isn't really answering your question, but just a thought. Why not suggest your buddy find a right handed shotgun that has either a tang mounted safety, or a trigger guard mounted safety that you can easily click off with the thumb of your trigger hand? I'm a lefty too, and my go to shotgun this past season was a Franchi Affinity (right handed). The trigger guard safety is positioned where I actually find it just as easily and quickly to click it off with my thumb as opposed to using my index finger as I would on a left handed gun. It's so quick that I've shot a handful of quick flushing ruffed grouse this season without ever thinking about the safety. It's become instinctive. I've never found the ejected shells to be an issue. I don't even see them and they don't hit me. I'm not sure why ejection would be an issue. The Affinity also comes with shims for stock adjustments if you need cast-on or cast-off. Going this route gives you a lot more choice. Just my thoughts.

I just got the A400 Xtreme in Realtree Camo in left hand. Before that Beretta only offered the A400 Xplor but they've expanded the offering now. I absolutely love it.

Have used a BPS exclusively over a number of years, suits me perfectly as a lefty. Something about the Browning metallurgy however, their steel becomes heavier over the years... :)

Decided to try a lighter, synthetic semi a couple of months ago and got myself a Franchi Affinity LH action, very happy with my purchase! It's priced the same as it's RH brother (pretty rare for other makes) and it's essentially the same as the gold-standard LH semi Benelli M2, minus about $700.

Thanks for that. I've been hopeful they would come out with the lefty Xtreme and didn't notice it had been released.

I've been using a lh Armsan 612 for a couple of years now. I hunt with it and shoot a moderate amount of sporting clays. It's been a good gun for me. Easily 2500 ++ through it. I have no complaints. And the price was right.
