Left Hand Filter Possible?

Is there a function for filtering ads for left-handed firearms, or failing that is there a possibility of building that functionality?

I just searched the EE using left and LH in 2 different searches and got a number of hits.

Go into the EE, select what section ( say hunting and sporting rifles )
Top right is the search button (magnifying glass) Click it. Type in LH or Left in, then select this forum from the drop menu. And it will filter anything LH.

I find the search function on this sight to be pretty poor, bordering on useless. Put in “LH” on gun post and got 5 pages of current relevant hits.

I just checked and searching just Left in the hunting sporting rifle EE section and got 7 pages, LH 2 pages.

So it works if you limit it to selecting which section, then everywheres.

The trick is to use the advanced search - I have no issues finding LH guns if I search for "left" or "lh", and only search in the EE sections I'm interested in. The regular search is trash.

After trying it out several days and ways, I would have to agree with you, it's practically useless. I see vast improvement in order to keep pace with competing sites, like Gunp*st yes.

But people forget GP is dedicate sales site. It is gun kijiji. CGN is a forum with a sales section. Always has.

Totally different programs. So to have a forum compete as smoothly with say Kijiji, isn't really going to happen. It has limitations.

I don't think people are using the drop menu property to limit where it searches.

Because if you search left from the main page, you are going to search the whole site. That is why some find it harder. Because this is a forum. Just not a EE. You need to go into the EE sub forum to narrow the search down.
