Left hand rifles

You don't need a lefty gun

Most righty guns are easier and faster to use lefty. Not to mentions parts are cheaper and available. Other than bullpup get a righty gun

Good point. Here is my advice. Replace the entire rifle of the latter two with a Tikka. Then buy an aftermarket magazine.
 
If you are left handed then a left handed bolt action is the logical choice not a right handed bolt where you reach over top of the gun to work the bolt. Been there done that then bought the A bolt stainless stalker in left handed bolt. I will never work a Right handed bolt other then trying out a gun a friend is passing around to try.

Watched my hunting buddy struggle with his for 5 days a few weeks ago. A mag that won't seat securely and falls out is not worth having. Didn't have any such issues with my A bolt II, in fact haven't had any such issues with it for the past 24 yrs.
 
Until a few years ago. I shot left. But an eye injury has forced me to shoot right. I have owned Browning, I still own a tikka in 223 and a older brass pin model 700 in 270. All are excellent rifles.

Yeah they cost more and parts are not available.

Whole lot of BS from people that have not actually used wrong handed guns.

The point is unless your really really want a lefty gun its not worth it.

Scopes are actually left handed for the reason you stated. Except for the ones with side focus.
 
With the exception of a M-94 in 30-30, I've used left handed guns on deer, elk, caribou and moose and I don't expect anyone would convince me otherwise. One company that one would think would produce left handed bolt rifles in the Vanguard series is Weatherby... They have made higher end rifles in a variety of Weatherby calibers. But I'm not aware of them having produced left handed bolt rifles in calibers like 270, 30-06 or 300 WM. I do like their own calibers - but also would like to see standard calibers where ammo is more available and less pricey.
