Okay, so what is available from the factory in left hand configuration? I am thinking primarily about an auto loader (but not mandatory) with wood stocks and my budget is $1200 including taxes.

A little help would be greatly appreciated!

An over under would solve your problem. I was in Cabelas the other day and I believe they had a used Benelli Super Black Eagle that was left handed. I don't tend to pay much attention to firearms after I realize they are left handed.

take it from a lefty ..there is no options besides the super backeagle2 and that is over2k,I went with winchester sx2 because the safty is reversible, other than that you have the mossberg with the safty on top.

I've seen numerous left-handed Remington 1100's for sale here on the EE and elsewhere. IGA has a left-handed offering (not a well made product, unfortunately). Several manufacturers offer left-handed options.

For example, I bought a FAIR (Fabbrica Armi Isidoro Rizzini) competition U/O for my left-handed daughter. It comes in at $600 over the high end of your budget for this purchase, but I'm sure there are much less expensive field models also available in left hand.

It would probably be worth your while to surf all the manufacturers' sites and search for "left hand" or "left-handed". You'll see that there are more makes/models available in left hand, provided you're willing to order them and wait for delivery.

Thanks for the info guys! I will look around and see what I find. Here is the need for a left hand shotgun, some freinds are getting married and the bride wants to buy her groom a new shotgun so she asks me as all their family and freinds are rifle only hunters. Then she calls me later and says oh yeah, he's a lefty! I had immediately suggested the Browning Silver, but I do not see that it is available in left hand configuration. Oh well, I will keep looking!

Well I'll put the cheap as #### left hand option out there then.

Gotta say I like it a lot. Haven't tried loading from my tactical vest yet but we shall see.

I found an O/U for her to buy. It is not specified as a left hand but the shop owner claims there is no cast, and I have shot one of these myself and there was little if no cast to the stock so I think it is a safe bet. Thanks for all the input guys!
