Left hand stainless rem 700?

Besides buying a bare action directly, what left handed rem 700 models were made in a stainless? I know they offered an LSS stainless/laminate in a long action and one run ever of sps varmints in stainless (with them being offered in 220 swift!).

I want to build a lh stainless .280 ackley improved, I'm just not sure what was made and what to look for as a donor gun for the build!

Not dead set on a rem 700, but I don't want savage and I can't justify the costs of a custom action for a hunting rifle used a couple weeks a year. I'm thinking wyatt bottom metal or something similar, then just load accordingly.
 
I know you can find a T3/T3X in stainless and if you where set on a longer COAL it’s one of the benefits that they run a single action length. Get a aftermarket mag a they run out to like 3.4 ish I think.

That said if you run a Wyatt bottom metal you would be good on a LA rem as well. The stainless just sounds hard to find.

I get what you’re saying though. It’s the same reason I don’t have a Blaser R8 yet.

It's going to be for hunting primarily elk in the bush, so stainless would be ideal. But I guess, a guy could cerekote it and just get it touched up as it chips and scratches.
 
Cerekote to cover an already blued rifle is a poor choice.

One of the worst rifles I had for rust was a stainless rifle.
 
Your answer to The best stainless model 700 LH is There trinite coated xcr 1 or a custom shop Remington KS mountain rifle they handle the elements fantastic.
 
Sometime around 2000 Remington made a LH 7mmRUM and a LH 300RUM with stainless barrels and grey laminate stocks; with a BDL style cheek riser. Later about 2009 they made a CDL 7mmRM with stainless barrel and I believe it had a laminate stock with a smallish cheek riser. They also made the BDL in the RUM mags and standard length cartridges over a longer period of time. And the SPS in LH in various cartridges and the Rem 7 in short actions, but were smaller sized rifles.
