Left hand t97 use

Is there an aftermarket fix (shell deflector) that would allow this rifle to be fired from the left shoulder?

seriously though, this rifle ejects VERY forcefully and fast, i woudlnt recomend it

Actually, I do notice the eject path of all my Gen2 T97 tends to go 45 degrees forward. I shot 200 rounds and not a SINGLE brass hit the area in or behind the bench. They all ended up at my 1:30 O'clock direction in front of me so I didn't have to sweep a single brass at all first time in my shooting day in my life. If yours is doing that it will be ok to shoot left handed regarding brass. But smoke, powder and gas etc is still gonna be a problem

If you looked through the sticky, I'm pretty sure at least one person made a kydex deflector. You might be able to see it unless they haven't switched their photobucket settings (which one one on earth has, it seems. Every archived thread on the internet made useless overnight, thanks photobucket)

I dont think you need case deflector so much as a landmark to keep your head from going too far forward.

T97.ca is supposed to be making one to attach to the LHG, but I've seen nothing about an actual release.
