I have sereached for a few days on line for a left handed 17 HMR. New or used..

Savage is the only company that I can find that sells lefty's and they only sell it in one model. Am I missing something or is this the only left handed 17 HMR?

Not looking for lever. Got to be bolt.

Any help?

Browning and CZ both make lefties

The savage with the thumb hole is a nice piece!?! Only lefty, thumb hole I've seen. Fair price also. Good luck, I know how hard it is to find and nice lefty.

I have this model as my 8 y/o is a lefty and he handles it well. The bolt is still on the right side, but at least all of us can shoot it comfortably. Price is great. Add an inexpensive yet quality scope from Mueller out of NY Adorama Cameras and you're good to go! w:h:

Just saw this on one of the site sponsor sites, but following the thread leads to a dead end. Not sure what is up?

Savage 9317 GLV for under $300. That is the .17 HMR left handed without the thumbhole stock. Check out Frontier Firearms.

Its kind of hard to find, but go to the rimfire stuff and then savage. At the bottom there is a box for new stuff. If it doesn't appear, click the plus sign in the top corner of the box. Once it appears don't bother clicking on it becasue its a dead end. Its probably just not inventoried yet? I think? Good luck.

I`m a lefty too and bought a Savage before the lefts were available.
Fantastic rifle, as soon as my son saves up the $$ I`m selling it to him and getting a lefty.
Another alternative is a single shot, like an NEF or H&R. They are lefty friendly. :D

CZ make one and so does Anschutz.Epps might have the cz but you will have to order the Anschutz try Prophet River. My Savage works good for what its worth

There is a dealer on this site, DELSELINS, who used to have left handed CZ rimfires. I have not looked around his posts in a while however. If your looking for low cost, Gagnon sports in Oshawa has a left handed savage GL 17hmr. EPPS has lefty savages as well.

Prophet had some lefty 17hmr CZ's as well

The CZ 452 is a dream to look at and shoot. The Savages are not built to the same tolerances, but are also surprisingly accurate.

I'm a lefty and I've got both... if I had to choose I'd keep the CZ ( especially once I install the Yodave trigger kit to make it crisper and lighter).

don't you just love this type of dilemma!

Prophet River is selling some left hand 17s in Anshultz and maybe one in Cooper. I'd pick one up, but I want what they are selling in a 22 Mag. And Savage probably makes at least two 17s.

I'd easily buy a CZ, as there price is acceptable for the quality of the build, but I'm interested in a 22 Mag and they don't make it...!

And, Browning makes a few options in the T-Bolt in 22LR and 22Mag, but I'm not too sure about a 17.
