Left Handed Bolt Action

there are tons. savage, CZ, schultz, cooper, etc. there issue isnt who makes them its finding the one you want in stock somewhere. for casual plinking i dont think you will get better bang for your buck than savage. well priced and with a trigger that i personally love. they also have several lefty models and are more abundant than a lot of other manufacturers. im a lefty too. dont give up. good luck on the search.

Have to agree with the savage. I had a right-handed one and totally un modified it would make half inch groups at 50 yards from the rest with cheap ammo. Plus it's made here in Canada.

after many many years of shooting right handed guns left handed i finally caved in and picked up my first and only 22 in left hand.
Savage MKII BTVLSS
super nice gun, real nice too shoot.
you could just go with the plain MKII but the left handed thumb hole stock is a nice treat.

There's one just like this ^^^^^ on the EE right now...buy it so I don't have to! haha

I love my Mark II G model in LH. Fit and finish is worlds above the 10/22 I just bought and the Savage was around $140 cheaper.

If your willing to spend a bit of money for a lefty bolt that you will never sell, get a CZ-452 Lux or Ultra Lux lefthanded. It has options to mount a scope, excellent iron sights, when you shoot subsonic ammo through it you can barely hear it, and it is extremely accurate. Only issue is that it will likely run you into the 500-800$ range as they don't produce this particular model anymore (though you could also get a CZ-455 which has the caliber changing option if that is what your looking for).

Interesting suggestions guys...thanks. Now, can anyone point me towards a seller with such an animal in stock?

Try Prairie Gun Traders on this site. Darren, s price on Savage mark ii tr 22lr and vortex cross fire ii 6-24 x 50 BDC reticle, was about $200 cheaper than local

Depends on your budget and willingness to wait for stock ... Savage Mark 2 seem to be most available. Basic Mark 2 is like $260, for $500 you get into a nice laminate thumbhole stock with heavy barrel like the ones pictured above.

For something more classy there's the Browning T-bolt but now you're in $800 territory. P-D Enterprises and LeBaron have them.

For something you might pass onto your left-handed progeny you could check out the $2000 Cooper options at Prophet River.

I've heard people recommend CZ strongly but I had a hard time finding lefty CZ.

For my own part I just got the plain Savage Mark 2 GL.
