Hey Guys,

Looking down the road I'd like to build a 'custom' rifle. I've been searching the Net for actions.........so far only Montana Rifle Co. has what I am looking for in an action.

None of the factories offer any thing as far as I can find either. Ruger has SS left-hand stuff but it's all LA. I've already got a 25/06 and would like something smaller..... 223/22-250/220:)

Are there any other options out there? Any feedback on the Montana actions?

i just built a .300 Win Mag on a left hand Montana action for a client. The quality on the action is first rate. i plan one for myself this winter. If we could only get them for the same money in Canada as they sell for in the states? There is a big demand for them now that Winchester has shut down...
 
for good prices on the montana action call corlanes sporting goods in dawson creek B.C...... they have several left hand actions in STOCK and ready to ship. including short, long and magnum actions.

if you don;t buy them I am going to.... even to just sit in the safe they are a good investment
 
Thanks guys for the feedback. Just have to finish up a few small projects, then start saving my pennies................. guess I'll know where to look when Corlanes is sold out, eh, Westicle.

I saw the action on EE........... 223 RUM AI?????:)

223 AI in one of those 'mini' actions might be nice........or .....

you don;t have to worry about them being sold out... went there today and they had a sako 75 hunter in .338 win mag Left Hand with a luepold 6x fixed for $1000 no tax so I scooped that up :) :) :)

they also have a couple of other used lefties there, a .270 savage and another one I didn;t look at.
