I also used to have a Condor MANY years ago! Recently had a Beretta A400 auto and shells didn't bother me....didn't even see them!
I sold my BPS a month ago (to make way for a 686) and I think it was a VERY nice gun. I really didn't want to get rid of it but I had too many (if that is even possible!). BPS slide was like ball-bearings...perfectly smooth, shucked out the bottom which was nice and the slide release is on the LH side which was perfect for me, being sinistral! Shooting clays is different with the BPS. You have to load the magazine then shuck the gun before firing. With a RH side eject you just close the breech and fire....so the BPS actually takes twice the movement.
Also the BPS IS VERY HEAVY. I'm a big guy but you do feel it if you're carrying it all day.
RH eject doesn't bother me in the least and I also like my Benelli Supernova for its quality.
