Hi guys,

I am trying to find out what rifles are out there that a lefty like myself can buy in 375 H&H. This would be either a single shot or a lefty bolt; I have been looking and I would like to hear from you guys to see if I have missed any.

Cheers,

Corey

Browning makes a LH Stainless Stalker A-Bolt

Winchester makes a Model 70 Classic Safari Express LH

Ruger makes a No1, in both blued/walnut and stainless/laminate

That's about the only ones I found too.

I've had or have a Browning and a Win. 70 in 375 H&H and they we're both well made rifles and both comfortable to shoot, in my opinion under more demanding conditions that ppl would be buying a 375 for the Browning isn't the best choice but if you want a Lefty you don't have many options.

I also have a Ruger # 1in 300 Ultra mag and in 458 WM and I trust them more than some bolt guns in demanding situations, can load them pretty fast from a butt stock shell holder also.

I shot a A-Bolt, left hand Stainless Stalker in 375 H&H about 4 years ago. Was an alright rifle, not my cup of tea, but a decent rig. Didn't care for the BOSS much though.

I'd opt for the m70 Safari or a stainless/laminate Ruger No1

Doesn't Dakota Arms make a left hand version of their bolt action rifle? Plus they make a single shot as well. Bit too pricey if you ask me, but then again I've never tried one so I'm not exactly an expert!

I know a couple of guys who took LH Rem 700s in 7mm Rem and had them rebarrelled to 375 H&H.

Both of them worked perfectl. No fooling around to get them to feed or anything like that.

buy a Montana 1999 action for $750 and add the parts you want. You will have a better rifle than what is available currently off-the-shelf

My LH Remmy 700 started life as a standard 7mm mag. It's now a .300H&H Mag, which is the same cartridge length as the .375 H&H so definitely it's do-able ;)

I think it was Doug who had a .375H&H Browning A-Bolt...

I remember him posting that the stock was poorly designed, and therefore it kicked like a mule... just something to consider.

I've been drooling over a left-hand Dakota 76 for years. Back when I first started looking at them (around 10 years ago), I think the entire gun was going for somewhere around $1500US. Now, that seems to be the price of just the action.
