Hi guys.
I am trying to find out if their is a legal 25 round mag left in Canada?
From my reading Dlask made a mag that dose not fit the charger pistol and stated that it is RCMP approved
I can not find it on their web site. But have found it elsewhere I believe.

I am referring to the mag that has the 20round stripper style clip

Is this mag legal in Canada?

I built (more like put together) a full Dlask/KIDD 10-22 right down to the trigger pins.
After one day on my backyard steel range it’s apparent I’m gonna need me ammo and capacity lol

Thanks

Dont know about a mag but they made a magwell adapter that allowed you to use 25rd mags from the 597 22LR in the 10/22. Spectre ballistic has them go online

I’ve got one. It works well. If you rest on the mag it can mess up the feeding, but no problems otherwise.

The Dlask mags are legal but they will not fit in a standard ruger receiver. They are designed for the Dlast TFU receiver so u can buy a receiver and move your parts over to it. Or better yet do a complete custom build on the dlask receiver.

Dlask doesn't sell their TUF-22 Magazine separately on their website due to a business agreement. You would need a modified 10/22 (Need a new cut on the receiver) or a TUF-22 Receiver to accept the 25 round TUF-22 magazine.

Reliable Gun in BC stocks and sells the TUF-22 magazine if you are looking for a retailer.

That’s what I have now
TUF-22 reciver
Dlask barrel
Kidd bolt and single stage trigger

well....the past couple years I have seen a fare amount of shooters showing up at the range with the buttler creek 25 mags
They dont seemed to concerned about...lol
Just sayin what I'm seeing.

That would definitely be the most 10/22 way to handle it.

or you can buy the magazine for the Dlask and modify your 10-22 according to the drawings included in the package with the magazine. If you have machining experience.

Could you explain.
To my knowledge mags that hold more then 10 for the 10-22 are not legal due to the charger pistol.
But I’m open to hearing otherwise

The law is still the same . The 10/22 mags were designed for the 10/22 rifle some 40 years before the charger pistol became a reality. there fore how can they be designed for the charger pistol if it wasnt even invented yet. The magazine limit is based upon the firearm it was designed for . In this case a 10/22 rifle which has unlimited mag capacity.

Now the mounties disagree. It is like the beowulf mags. The RCMP gave them their blessing and then changed their minds and came up with the dual use term
