Just wondering if anyone knows of a legal non-restricted Bullpup .22lr? I'm not talking a drop in kit for another rifle (which would make it prohib) I'm asking if there is a rimfire equivalent similar to the offerings like the IWI-Tavor and the type 97.

The ten round mag and time to take down and clean is what is stopping me from buying one. Anyone who complains about the Mossberg t715 should also complain about this gun.
If the mag was larger and had pins to add in takedown, heck I'd get one.

That bullpup is great from a political standpoint, but that design is almost purpose defeating.. The action is very far forward.. Then the rifle extends way past the trigger hand, which essentially returns the point of balance to the front. Bullpup is meant to keep the balance at the rear..

I stand duly corrected. The action is not towards the front but at the correct location just under the cheek rest.

I'm getting the 22 mag guaranteed.

Here is the correct emoticon to express my new perspective :ar15:

Huh? A caliber conversion does not magically turn a rifle into a prohibited class. Unless you change the barrel length, overall length or convert to full-auto, there aren't any ways to turn a Non-restricted (or restricted) firearm into a prohibited firearm. A conversion kit for the T97 or Tavor would be 100% legal and Non-restricted, provided the rifle was non-restricted to begin with.

He's talking about a bullpup stock for a non-bullpup NR rifle..

Does anyone know of anyone listing the Appeal on there page. The link in the second post of the thread comes up fine but if you go to the companies "firearms" page or any other page on there site it's no where to be found.. Makes me think they may have pulled it from there main page for a reason...

I'm either getting a new barrel for my 10/22, or getting this thing. $500 is not much in terms of a firearm.. The only thing I'm not sure about is how a scope will mount/look on it.. ?

The most recent issue of American Rifleman has a review article on this rifle. Seems interesting, but it should be noted that Mitchells Mausers is advertising these as well, (for whatever it's worth, I've heard MM has a dubious rep). In the US it's labelled as Eurpean American Armoury.
