One review I saw suggested 2 mags i.e. 40 rounds total per CO2 cartridge. The other closer to 3 mags. Maybe depends on auto or not?

More like 1 mag per 1 c02....I have a gletcher uzi and this is definitely the case

I’ve got the Umarex legends MP-40 and it uses two CO2 at the same time, and you get two mags of full power, so one per mag basically. Ridiculous fun though. Love this CBR though. Hope they make a Thompson some day.
