Is it legal to hunt with optics that have an illuminated recticle. Is this a legal hunting scope or will I get fined or worse if I was to hunt with it.

Any advice would be great

Illuminated reticles are fine...if that is the store you are going to buy from, check out Marstar 1st (better prices). :)

PS You had better break that link..someone will get upset if you don't. ;)

Right on, I ordered this scope already, but opsgear has to get it from the manufacturer, so I wanted to make sure I could change my order if I needed.
Whats your opinion on it??

What are you mounting it on, .223, .308?
What are you hunting with it?

I have a Leapers on my Stevens .223...It was cheap $$ wise, quality seems OK. Its not a gun I use alot so it works for me.

Would I put it on my main deer gun...NO WAY.

Yes,If you missed your shot, and the Deer ran away....:D:D:D

I'm putting it on my 30-06, and I'm probably going to hunt bear and deer

For my hard use hunting guns..I like the Bushnell Elite series (3200 or 4200), or Leupold. They've never let me down yet. ;)

That is a whole lotta scope to put on a BC hunting rig...not light. 56mm

I normally stick to three or four year old clear cuts, so you've got a fairly open range with little to get in the way. sit up on a cliff 100+yrds away to get an awesome shot
