Legal Open Carry On Private Property

Maybe someone who thinks it’s ok to do so will test the theory of discharging a firearm in their dwelling house and post the results.

If you can only discharge a restricted at a range then why do the CFO's issue ATC's? The presumption is that if you can open carry a restricted you must be able to discharge that restricted........ Private citizens who have ATC's are governed by the firearms act.

..if i was a farmer with a very large property like 700 acres or so, i would open carry my handgun and if someone would come to tell me off i would tell them to get the f@@ck out of my property.

Whoa, this again? "Can you shoot your restricted from your house" was figured out decades ago, and reported in articles by Dave Tomlinson.

You might be able to google the articles but basically it’s this-

If you live in an area legal to shoot guns and want to stand on your porch and shoot your pistol, it’s legal. Forget about ATTs, you aren’t transporting anything so any reference to ATTs is irrelevant.

Get an antique revolver and carry it to your hearts content.

This to answer the OP. Find an antique that shoots 44 Russian or 38 Long Colt. I have a 41 Long Colt and it is a PITA to reload for.
