Legit or some sort of fake

Crock as the antlers have most of the top jaw attached also. It's just another scam.

Y'know, you could do worse than to go back and re-watch that video. The Euro mount was the same buck, after he had been harvested.

My first thoughts were that the only way a shed takes skull plate with it, is if it was helped, say, by getting hit with a truck... But from looking at the pictures, it is obviously a non-typical set of antlers, likely caused by physical trauma, at some point in it's life. Given the variations documented in Non-Typical Antlers, for various reasons (mainly genetics and trauma, been told that spinal trauma has a strong link), I'd not rule out about anything as impossible.

Dunno about the whole 'exposing the brain' aspect, as that seems less likely than the skull plate being deformed as the weird antlers grew in.

Heres the video embedded. If you take the video ID (the G9girY8ijVo part) and append it to a regular youtube share link (ht tps://youtu.be/#########xx, replacing ######x with your videos info) you can embed shorts as if they're regular videos.

I believe the shed is real, I'm skeptical that trail cam footage is the same deer though.
