1899,

your luck really bites then! :)

I seem to draw something every year. Was in a bit of a dry spell for moose until this year (hadn't had a draw for 4 years, but went and killed one in the open season anyway).

On my 3rd grizzly draw in 15 years, but only put in for griz about every 5 years so I'm doing pretty good on that one.

But as some one mentioned, I look at LEH as a bonus. No draw then go and hunt an open season somewhere. Freezer hasn't been empty, come winter, in a loooong time. :)

i don't believe it, i think it just looks that way because "local" hunters are overwhelmed in the draw by the shear number of hunters from the lower mainland.

My kids are taking the hunter course right now. That will make us 4 ballots in the moose draw next year. If we don't get one then.....I quit, and will sell my guns, and take up quilting AAaaaargh!

In agreement with sheephunter been doing the alberta draws for 5 years now and I had a draw every year on some species ............ i B C never drawn a moose in the time that the limited entry has been implemented and I have a neighbour who has been drawn 4 time in last 6 years just wondering what happenend to that 50 per cent thing when you drawn your chances are cut in half............... anyhow not to be negative about the draw system but it could be looked at where you can be drawn in a certain time frame like once every five years
