Leica Scopes

I have the Leica 1600b range finder and was impressed how clear it was. I assume the glass in it is not outsourced.

Interesting part is that when I lived in South Africa, I was a Sightron dealer for 3 years (and distributor for a while), and I had more than a few Sightron warranty returns, while in the same period, didn't have a single Falcon scope (of which I was also the distributor) warranty issue - go figure. And the Falcon was only 1/4 the price of the Sightron. Alan Orr that used to be at Sightron, would be able to confirm.... LOL

So MY experience with Sightron was not too great.... YMMV.

I am a real fan of Falcon, and particularly like them as a budget scope, but they get a real hammering here on CGN, so go figure. (I have 4 of them, and about a decade of use on them, no issues at all).

I also read a lot of posts here, and personally, I find Mystic's one of the more 'sage' like. If he like's something, it is normally good. When a wonky observation is given, I would personally take note............:)
