They've been keeping a low profile since Paul suffered the implosion.
Is he still in the US or did they kick his psycho ass back to the UK?
 
I am waiting to buy a piston conversion from LMT when its out... This is gonna be one great combo..LMT Piston rifle. Suppose to be a drop in kit.
 
IIRC, he was caught posting under different aliases on ar15.com Including saying he was some sort of secret squirrill military officer, made up stories of US Special Forces using the LW rifles, and also posted false stories about reliability problems with his competitors (POF) products. In the end the characters were found to all be using the same IP/Computer, in Paul Leitner-Wise's office. This was followed by a company credibility meltdown, etc.

I don't remember the military identity bits, but I do remember reading his slags on POF, and thinking they were real.

Sad story really, as all reports say the product itself was good, and all the ####/slagging/made up stories, were totally unnecessary (thus the mental health questions). The company that bears his name fired his ass.

you pretty well nailed it ! He was pretending to be a SF Col if I remember.
Sad really because from what I've read it's a quality rifle..to bad a raving lunatic almost destroyed it.

I really don't see why they wouldn't be. Simple design, pretty hard to screw it up.

I plan to get one if I ever have money. The only way you'll see an AR15 in my hand is if it is piston operated.
